Child Abducted By Mom During Visit In Pennsylvania (Details): Police

A massive search is under way in Pennsylvania for a woman who authorities say abducted her 6-year-old daughter during a supervised visit.

Vanessa Gutshall, 37, and Zoe Moss were reported missing out of Downington on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

They were last seen near East Ward Elementary School in Chester County around 6:10 p.m. The child was at that location for a court-ordered, non-school-related supervised visit with her mom.

The supervisor of the visit told police that Gutshall fled with the child in a gray 2016 Volkswagen Jetta, license plate number KXR-3699.

Gutshall was last seen between 7:30 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Rivertowne Restaurant & Bar in Wrightsville, PA, about an hour west of Downingtown near York.

Amber Alerts are issued when a child under 18 is abducted and believed to be in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death. An arrest warrant has been issued for Vanessa Gutshall. Downingtown Police are investigating.
